As a Chicago native, Joey Kiening began his career as a make-up artist before morphing into a hair stylist. Quickly he was drawn to become a color specialist and educator that he is today. Now with over 25 years in the beauty industry he pulls inspiration from people and their lives. A celebration of collaborative cultures, creating up-to-date styles and color that fits into a persons lifestyle. Joey is his name and color is his game speaks to the essential, well rounded experience you’ll find within him. He has a deep rooted passion for teaching that began before he was working behind the chair. “ You cant keep what you’ve been given if you don’t give it away”, is his motto.
